MEC recalls Nissan Tida & Navara models over airbag defect

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce announces recall of Nissan Tida 2007-2013 models and Nissan Navara 2007-2008 models over potential defect in driver’s airbag inflator.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Company, dealer of Nissan vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of Nissan Tida models of 2007-2013 and Nissan Navara models of 2007-2008 over a potential defect in the driver’s air bag inflator.
The ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
