Doha: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Environmental Affairs Sector, has renewed its call to camel owners to adhere to the decision that bans camel grazing in order to preserve the natural environment.

The Ministry said that this came in accordance with the provisions of the Law No. (32) of 1995 on Preventing Damage of Plant Environment. It also affirmed that the competent regulatory bodies will control the violators and take all legal measures against them.

The patrols of Department of Protection and Wildlife at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment work round the clock to control violations and take all necessary legal measures in this regard.

The decision follows the positive results of the ban in previous years in terms of growth of trees and plants as well as recovery of green areas.
