Askar Industrial Co backs Made in Qatar exhibition

Askar Industrial Co is supporting the ‘Made in Qatar 2017’ exhibition as a Sponsor of Miscellaneous Industries’ sector, according to a press release issued by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QC).
The expo, scheduled to be held between December 14 – 17, will be organised by QC in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Industry on an area of 29,000 sqm at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre.
With the participation of over 300 Qatari companies and factories, the exhibition aims to promote locally-manufactured products and enhancing Qatar’s industry in general.
Hussain Yousef Al Abdul Ghani, Head of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the QC, and Nabil Nadeem Askar, Askar’s CEO, signed the sponsorship agreement at the QC venue yesterday.
Commenting on the agreement signing ceremony, Askar said that the company had took part in previous editions of the expo which is considered as a catalyst for the Qatari industry and a motive for manufacturers and local companies.
Askar thanked Qatar Chamber for holding this important exhibition which provides a good opportunity for visitors to explore the locally-manufactured products. He also paid tribute to the country’s support of industry sector, looking forward to seeing more support in the future, particularly that there is an increasing interest towards promoting and fostering these products.
Meanwhile, Al Abdul Ghani said that QC extends its deep thanking to the company for its sponsorship and expressed the chamber’s appreciation to have a leading company such as ‘Askar’ in the sponsors list.
He said the expo is a platform for exchanging expertise among manufacturers and visitors, as well as promoting local products.
