DOHA: Nepalese Muslim Society, Qatar organized beach cleaning event at Al Wakra Family Beach in cooperation with Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Al Wakra Municipality on October 26.
The beach cleaning programme aimed to increase further awareness of environmental protection and support community environmental activities. More than 100 volunteers of Nepalese Muslim Society with their families participated in the programme and collected cans, bottles, plastic bags and other trash during the clean-up drive.
Addressing to the event, Mohammad Ayub Haque, President of Nepalese Muslim Society, said: “Home, society and environment should always be neat and clean for the healthy and quality life.
