Doha: Qatar Tourism (QT) represented the State of Qatar at OTM Mumbai 2022, the leading travel trade show in Asia.
QT’s booth featured eight industry partners, including Doha Expo 2023, Qatar Airways (India office), Tawfeeq Holidays, Discover Qatar, Al Messila Luxury Collection Resort and Spa, Mannai Holidays and Inbound Tourism LLC, Ritz-Carlton Doha, and Hilton Salwa Beach Resort and Villas. During OTM’s Excellence Award, QT was presented the ‘Best Design and Decoration’ award for its booth.
Ambassador of the State of Qatar to India, H E Mohammed Khater Al Khater, along with Consul General of Qatar in Mumbai, Ahmad Saad M H Al Sulaiti, and Second Secretary Nasser Hazza Al Hajri, visited Qatar’s booth at the travel trade show, which took place from September 13 to 15, 2022, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.
During the event, QT organized an Arabic Calligraphy workshop to showcase the artistic practice of handwriting in Arabic. Additionally, QT highlighted its VisitQatar website and mobile application, as well as the vast selection of tours and day trips on offer for visitors to enjoy.
