Doha: The Behavioural Health Support Centre, a Qatar Foundation for Social Work centre, represented by the Department of Community Awareness, is participating in the back-to-school campaign for the academic year 2022/23 under the slogan “Towards Promoting Students’ Overall Health”.
The campaign is being implemented in several government schools and three health centres affiliated with the Primary Health Care Corporation. The campaign, which started on August 17, will continue until Wednesday.
In a statement, the centre said that the campaign targets students, parents, and the school and local community, and comes from the principle of partnership with government institutions and agencies to complement the permanent cooperation with primary health care.
The goal of the back-to-school campaign is to empower students physically, psychologically, mentally, and behaviourally, preparing them to engage in learning while enjoying good overall health, the centre pointed out.
