Doha: A traffic diversion will be implemented on West Industrial Street between Street No.15 and Street No.33.
The diversion will start on Friday evening September 2, 2016 and will last for six months. During this period, traffic will be diverted to a parallel street with two lanes in each direction, and a roundabout will be built on West Industrial Street to facilitate access to the local areas and make U-turns, as shown in the attached map.
The diversion aims to enable construction works to upgrade Doha’s Industrial Area Package 1, which aims to increase the capacity of roads, in addition to providing the Industrial Area with a full integrated infrastructure.
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ urged all road users to abide by posted speed limits and traffic signs to ensure their and others safety.
