Qatar Pavilion attracts two million visitors

Doha: Qatar’s pavilion in Expo Milano had two million visitors since the launch of the exhibition in May, a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said yesterday.
According to the statement, Qatar’s pavilion was one of the top 10 most visited. 
The Qatari wing reflected the country’s heritage and displayed a commitment to preserve the environment as a key factor for achieving sustainable development. 
The pavilion hosted cultural events highlighting Qatar’s past and the prospects for the future.
The visitor No. Two Million received a special gift from the wing and expressed her pleasure with the high level of organisation at the Qatari section. 
Expo Milano 2015 is the universal exhibition Milan, Italy, is hosting from May 1 to October 31.
It will host more than 140 participating countries that will show the best of their technology and offers concrete answers to a vital need: Being able to guarantee healthy, safe and sufficient food for everyone, while respecting the planet and its equilibrium. 
In addition to participating countries, the expo also involves international organisations and expects to welcome over 20 million visitors to its 1.1 million square meters of exhibition area, says the expo’s website.
