Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) participated yesterday via videoconferencing in the 21st GCC News Agencies Officials Meeting.
President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Fahd bin Hassan Al Aqran, who headed the meeting, stressed the great responsibility that Gulf media agencies bear, especially the news agencies, to express the changes taking place in the GCC countries in line with the strategic plans and visions of the GCC various countries.
He stressed the need for the Gulf media to highlight the major events witnessed by the GCC countries, such as the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the State of Qatar at the end of the year.
