Doha: Qatar’s population has reached 2,826,286 as of March 2022, according to the Planning and Statistics (PSA) data. The new data sees a significant increase from the March 2021 which stood at 2,642,112 and March 2020.
The recent increase in the population inside the country, also means there are more people in Qatar compared to February 2022, at 2,811,774 and 2,791,925 in January. The data however does not include Qatari nationals or residents who were outside the country as at March 31, 2022.
Meanwhile, Qatar has seen a significant increase in population in the last decade according to the 2020 census figures. As at December 2010 the p[population inside Qatar was 1,637,443 compared to December 2020 when the population reached 2,684,329.
