Indian food festival at Sharq Village and Spa

To celebrate the 2014 Indian Food Festival, Al Liwan restaurant and Sharq Village and Spa have introduced a new Indian culinary division to mark the occasion. The five-day event is being held at Sharq and Village Spa until March 31.
Chef Janardan Das and his team showcased many traditional dishes, ranging from curries and naans to grilled specialities from the tandoori oven and authentic Indian desserts.
More than 20 types of appetizers from different parts of India such as achari shrimps salad, kutchumber salad, curried pasta salad, dahi vada, pani puri and papdi chat are available as well.
A myriad of Indian main dishes includes vegetable biryani, aloo dum Kashmiri, dal makhani, badshahi biryani, mutton roganjosh, prawn, malai curry, chicken tikka makhani, kakori kebab, murg malai kebab, lassoni kebab and jhinga kebab
