Doha: On the occasion of India’s Republic Day celebrations, Telangana Praja Samithi (TPS) Qatar has organised the Blood Donation camp, with support from the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Blood Donor Centre team.
The camp was held at Hamad Blood Donation centre in Doha. The entire camp was successfully managed with a seamless process, from the point of registration to health check clearance, blood drawing and issuance of the appreciation certificates.
Ambassador of India to Qatar H E Dr. Deepak Mittal was the chief guest of the day. President of Indian Cultural Center (ICC) P N Babu Rajan; ICC General Secretary Krishna Kumar, ICC Advisory Council Chairperson K S Prasad, and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
All blood donors received appreciation certificate from the Indian Ambassador and ICC President Babu Rajan and from other dignitaries present at the venue, which was appreciated by all.
The Ambassador thanked the TPS team, HMC staff, management and the Indian community for taking part in the blood donation camp. The camp was organised by the Telangana Praja Samithi Qatar under the able leadership of Gadde Srinivas, who thanked all the team for making this programme a grand success. Venkat Reddy, General Secretary of TPS Qatar, thanked all the volunteers for coming forward to donate the blood.
