Qatar participated in the Gulf-European preparatory ministerial meeting, which was held in the Belgian capital, Brussels. Qatar was represented in the meeting by Ambassador of Qatar to the European Union H E Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, while the European side was represented by Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the European External Action Service.
