DUBAI: Qatar’s skydivers turned on the style when they rubbed shoulders with the best in the world at the 2015 Clash of Champions, which ended in Dubai on Saturday. Representing Qatar at the $200,000 event at Inflight Dubai under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Qatar Tigers and Qatar Falcons claimed fifth spot in two classes dominated by star flyers from Belgium and the US. In the AAA 4-Way Formation Skydiving category, the Qatar Tigers performed in a class won by the multi-championship-winning Belgian team HayaBusa, while Qatar Falcons held their own in AAA 8-Way Formation Skydiving category won by the world record-breaking US Army team the Golden Knights.
