Amman: Qatar’s Ambassador to Jordan Zayed bin Said Al Khayareen met yesterday during a visit to Prince Faisal Military College with Commander of the College Brigadier Mahmoud Al Abdullat. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in academic military areas. The Ambassador also met on the sidelines of the visit with Qatari students enrolled in the college and inspected their conditions and get briefed on their studies and academic issues. The Ambassador assured the Qatari students the state’s keenness on caring for the Qatari citizens’ interests and affairs.
Astana/Sagreb: The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Sarybay has received copies of credentials of Qatar’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Mutawa. They reviewed bilateral and ways of enhancing them. The President of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipovic, received credentials of Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Thani as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to the Republic of Croatia. The Ambassador conveyed greetings of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the president of Croatia, as well as his wishes of good health and happiness to the president, and of further progress and prosperity to the government and the people of Croatia. The Croatian president entrusted the ambassador with his greetings to the Emir, wishing the Emir best of health and continued progress, development and prosperity to Qatar. He also wished the ambassador success in her duties, assuring her of providing all support for advancing bilateral relations in various fields.
