ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani entrepreneur Iqbal Sheikh showed his mettle abroad when his CyberTex Institute of Technology was honoured at a conference and awards ceremony in the US capital Washington at 31st annual celebration of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
Back home Iqbal Sheikh has been greatly contributing to the promotion of education. Along with CyberTex, the 2012 list included other powerhouses such as Alex and Ani, Living Social, Bojangels, OtterBox and KT Tape.
This is CyberTex’s second consecutive year to be awarded.
According to the report Iqbal Sheikh, Founder President and CEO attended the ceremony and received the Inc. 5000 Award for 2013. CyberTex has been listed among Top 25 Computer Training Schools in the Austin region since 2001.
This year, it ranked number 6 in Austin’s Business Journal Book of Lists for Career and Tech Schools. CyberTex has also been a recipient of Diversity Business Top 500 Emerging Business in America and awarded by Austin Business Journal as one of the 50 fastest growing corporation of Central Texas.
Sheikh, a Pakistani entrepreneur has been affiliated as a member of the British Computer Society, Austin Technology Council, Austin Chamber of Commerce, Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of Advisory Council of Texans for Stem Cell Research, Austin Texas.
