LJUBLJANA: Eighteen passengers were slightly injured on Monday when a passenger train ploughed into one parked at a station near the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, police said.
The accident occurred when a train travelling from Belgrade to Austria crashed into a train parked at the station of Vizmarje, a suburb of the Slovenian capital, said Marko Tancar, a spokesman for the national railways.
He did not provide any other details of the crash and said an investigation has been launched.
Three of those injured remain in hospital. (AFP)
