DOHA: SAK Holding Group, one of Qatar’s prominent real estate developers, ranked first in Qatar, and second in the Middle East region, in terms of innovation and excellence in the recently published “Power Hour”, a list of 60 most powerful urban and real estate development companies in the region, by Construction Business News ME.
SAK Holding Group has a great aptitude for initiatives and innovations in the field of construction and real estate investment, in reference to wining the real estate innovation and excellence award last year for launching a real estate initiative called ‘Sharekna’ under the directives of Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAK, to support the local market, and to promote business growth in line with Qatar National Development Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030, noted the magazine.
Sheikh Thani expressed his happiness for what he described as a new breakthrough for SAK Holding Group.

Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani said: “We managed to create a balance between our goals and the market’s true requirements, the difficult equation we have been committed to throughout our long history filled with achievements. Today we achieved a new milestone in the Power Hour list of the 60 most powerful urban development and construction companies in the Middle East, for the second year in a row.

“Our group maintained its leading rank among Qatari companies operating in the real estate and urban development sector, based on an honest and impartial review that studied objectively and professionally our history and achievements for over 50 years, which formed a real addition to our constant economic development in our beloved country Qatar.
“We are proud of the review that was published by the magazine, one of the economic media entities specialised in monitoring building and construction and real estate development. We appreciate their transparency, we consider this an opportunity to address all components of SAK Holding Group and its subsidiaries, senior management, manager, employees and workers, to encourage them to exert further and maintain the leadership of our group,” he added.
Jason O’Connell, Senior Editor, Construction Business News — Middle East, said: “The list is issued this year amid questions about hard conditions facing the sector suffering from turbulences and volatile conditions for over five years. A team of expert editors scrutinised activities and performance of corporations over months and focused on its perseverance and continuousness based on transparent objective criteria.”
