Doha, Qatar: Birla Public School, Doha, delivered a stellar performance at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Swimming Competitions 2025, held at DPS-MIS, Al Wakra. The four-day event witnessed intense participation from schools across the country, with events categorised under Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age groups.
The swimming team from Birla Public School demonstrated remarkable skill, discipline and determination throughout the competition, securing a total of 99 medals—29 Gold, 37 Silver, and 33 Bronze.
Master Vaishnav Ashok Kumar emerged as the Individual Champion in the Under-11 Boys category, securing 3 Gold medals and scoring 21 points. Miss Natasha Patman secured the Individual Champion title in the Under-17 Girls category with a dominant performance, securing 5 Gold medals and 35 points.
Birla Public school was awarded the Overall First Runner-Up position in both the boys’ and girls’ team categories, underscoring the depth and consistency of talent across its swimming squad.
Forty-three swimmers of the school—22 boys and 21 girls-have qualified to represent Team Qatar at the upcoming CBSE National Swimming Competitions to be held in India later this year.
These laurels are the reflection of the swimmers’ hard work, the unwavering support of their coaches, and the encouragement provided by the school community.
