Qatar Rail to open more stations on Red Line soon

Doha: Qatar Rail will open more stations on the Red Line in the near future. 

Qatar Rail tweeted that it will be introducing new lines and open more stations on the Red Line for which it will be conducting network expansion testing starting on May 30.

The tweet read, “Network expansion testing will allow us to extend our services, introduce new lines and open more stations on the Red Line including Hamad International Airport, Katara, Qatar University and Lusail in the near future." 

Qatar Rail said that Metro and Metrolink services will not operate from May 30, until June 4 as it would undertake network expansion testing during those days.

“Metro and Metrolink services will not operate from May 30 until June 4 as we undertake network expansion testing,” Qatar Rail tweeted. 

“We are pleased to inform you that our opening hours will be extended during Eid al-Fitr from 06:00hrs on 04 June,” Qatar Rail said.
