Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) Blood Donor Center is in critical need of O- and O+ blood types.
HMC said in post on social media said that they need donors for the two blood types.
Blood donations center next to Hamad General Hospital (HGH) are open from 8am to 1pm and 6pm to 12 midnight everyday, except Friday when it is closed.
Another new blood donation center is located opposite HGH Outpatient Department next to Surgical Speciality Center which is open from Saturday to Thursday from 6pm to 12 midnight.
In the present COVID-19 situation it has been ensured that donors can safely donate blood and recruit more donors. A social media campaign under the slogan “Qatar ... It’s in Our Blood” has urged citizens and residents to become regular blood donors to make a difference in someone’s life by donating blood.
