Doha: Hosts Canada defeated Jamaica to finish on top of the Concacaf World Cup qualifying group and  book a place in Qatar 2022.

Yesterday, the Canadian Ambassador to Qatar, H E Stefanie McCollum joined the celebrations with the students and faculty at the Blyth Academy, the Canadian School of Qatar raising Canadian and Qatar flags.

Team Canada defeated both the USA and Mexico to capture their place at the World Cup for the first time in 36 years.

Blyth Academy, the Canadian School of Qatar is accredited by the Ministry of Education in Qatar and the Province of Alberta, Canada and has more than 450 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
