Mexico City,--A gas explosion ripped through a children's hospital in Mexico City Thursday, reportedly killing a woman and injuring at least 54 others, 22 of them children, the city's mayor said.
Mayor Miguel Angel Mancera told MVS radio he had received a report of "a person who appears to have died, a woman" found under rubble. He said the injured were not in serious condition and were being transferred to other hospitals.
