Saint-Cloud, France: France Galop registered the probable runners and supplementation for the Qatar Total Arabian Trophy des Poulains (Gr1 PA) to be held tomorrow at Saint-Cloud, in the western suburbs of Paris.
There should be a total of 12 colts running for the 2017 title of this race. We can notice the supplementation of Akoya, but he will have against him the H H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani-owned Rajeh (Jaafer), who has been impressive and unbeaten in each of his two runs.
The race will also welcome Al Shaqab Racing’s Rijm (Azadi), who has been placed twice second at the Gr1 level after winning for his debut in April.
In what concerns the fillies in the Qatar Arabian Trophy des Pouliches (Gr1 PA) to be run at the same course a the same day, there were not any supplemented horses registered.
However, Khalifa Hamad Al Attiyah’s Djahab (Mahabb), who is trained by Qatari trainer, Hadi Al Ramzani, has already won in France despite a heavy ground. This race is an objective for her and her trainer.
Better known, Joudh (Mahabb), who is owned by Yas Horse Racing Management and trained by the French Didier Guillemin, will also try to keep her invincibility after 4 runs.
