Jordan's state grains buyer purchased 60,000 tonnes of feed barley to be sourced from optional origins in a tender for up to 120,000 tonnes which closed on Tuesday, traders said.
It was bought at $263 a tonne c&f for shipment in the first half of October.
The seller was trading house Bunge.
Five companies had participated in the tender. Other offers included Ameropa at $271/tonne, GTCS at $270/tonne and Aston at $270/tonne.
