Chairman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee, Major General Engineer Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ansari, met yesterday with Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Department of the Treasury, H E Paul Ahern, who is visiting the country.
They discussed ways to enhance efforts to combat terrorism and its means of financing and reduce its risks at all levels.
The meeting also dealt with the role of national, regional and international institutions in this framework and the importance of international cooperation to confront the threat of terrorism.
