Doha, Qatar: The total value of bids for treasury bills during the month of May amounted to QR23 billion, while the value of issuances amounted to QR9.5 billion, according to Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
In a tweet on its official Twitter account, QCB said that the issuance of the treasury bills came as follows: QR 4 billion for one week tenor with a 5.5050 percent interest rate, QR 1 billion for one month tenor for a 5.5625 percent interest rate, QR 1.5 billion for three months tenor for a 5.6450 percent interest rate, QR 1 billion for six months tenor for a 5.7025 percent interest rate, and QR 1 billion for nine months tenor for 5.7500 percent rate.
