Qatari football players arriving in Rio de Janeiro yesterday, ahead of their friendly match against Brazil, which will take place on June 5.
The match serves as preparation ahead of the Copa America, which will commence in Brazil on June 14.
The Asian champions, Qatar will make their Copa America debut against former World Cup champions Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay in Group B.
Japan and Qatar will be the two guest teams in the 12-team tournament that also features Brazil, Peru, Uruguay, Bolivia, Venezuela, Chile and Ecuador.
