Doha: DPS-Modern Indian School Grade V students visited the Baladna park on March 16. Grade V had their class picnic this year after a long gap of two years at Baladna park, a green refuge on the outskirts of Doha, the gateway to a peaceful wonderland.

With their bags packed with food, water and much more, the children were thrilled and excited to go for the picnic. They were accompanied to the park by class teachers, subject teachers, a nurse and supporting staff. They started school at 8.00am with a feeling of a great day ahead. The students were highly excited and kept singing songs on the bus till they reached the park. The buses arrived at the park at 9.00am.

Baladana park offers a plethora of exciting and engaging activities. The park employees guided the children through the park; they took them to enjoy the different rides. The park has a zoo that houses dozens of animals, such as horses, rabbits’, goats’, sheep etc. A few children bought food from the small outlets in the park and fed the animals.
