The State of Qatar launched first Qatar Visa Center (QVC) in India’s capital New Delhi in the presence of officials from both countries.
Six more centers will be opened in the coming days in the cities of Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi. Previously QVC’s were opened in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
QVC will simplify and accelerate work visa procedures for those coming from these countries to Qatar and enable them to complete fingerprint and biometric data processing, medical checkup and employment contract signing from their home countries.
