Qatar's national team for the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption continued its meetings, chaired by Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, to discuss what has been done so far in preparing a national strategy to promote integrity and transparency.

In a press release, the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority said that the national team's meeting reviewed the work done to formulate the proposals of the national strategy to promote integrity and transparency as well as the proposed priorities of the strategy, in a way that enhances the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030, and Qatar National Development Strategy along with Qatar's implementation of relevant international conventions and standards.

The Authority cooperated in this regard with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in order to benefit from their considerable expertise in this area.

The national team and sub-teams are scheduled to hold more meetings to finalize the national strategy to promote integrity and transparency and its executive plan as well as to come out with the final document of the strategy to be adopted by the highest authorities in the country.
