Doha. Kerala Women's Initiative Qatar (KWIQ) an associate organisation of Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) appointed its new managing committee members for the period 2022-2024 on February 24, 2022. The appointment of the new office bearers took place at the Mumbai Hall of ICC during KWIQ's second Annual General Body Meeting.
KWIQ's President Zareena Ahad presided over the Annual General Body Meeting with General Secretary Anju Anand, Shahina Shamnad, Thanzy Ijaz, Sheethal Prashanth, Shejeetha Rasheed and Dr Indulekha Sumesh presenting the annual reports for the various activities that were conducted along with the financial reports for the Year 2021.
KWIQ's Executive Members and Council Members unanimously elected the new managing committee members who took over their respective duties during a swearing in ceremony.
KWIQ's new managing committee members are Zareena Ahad (President), Anju Anand (General Secretary), Leena Ollacherry(Joint Secretary), Bini Vinod & Shahina Shamnad (Vice Presidents), Asha Chungath (Treasurer) Dr.Shoma Jitesh(Joint Treasurer), Sheethal Prasanth & Thanzy Ijaz (Cultural), Kavitha Shibu & Gayathri Prateesh (Sports), Dr.Indulekha Sumesh & Shana Nasim (Welfare), Lasitha Gireesh, Ramla Basheer, Hazi Dawood & Shejeetha Rasheed(Advisory), Arsha Lineesh & Shehna Faisal (Social Media coordinators) Hamna Azaad (Auditor), Sreedevi Joy (Patron) along with Reshmi Gaurav, Faheema Mustafa, Smitha Madhusoodnan, Pooja Rajesh, Fousiya Subair as executive members.
President Zareena Ahad, General Secretary Anju Anand, Vice President Bini Vinod, Patron Sreedevi Joy, Joint Treasurer Shoma Jitesh along with Council Members Shaharban, Subaira, Ambily and Shereen spoke during the annual general body meeting.
KWIQ recently launched their membership card. The card is loaded with generous offers from 18 merchant partners from different walks of life like medical centres, restaurants, beauty salons, boutiques, education centers, performing arts, insurance companies, courier services to cater to the different needs of members.
