DUBAI: Yemen's Aden Refinery (ARC) has agreed to buy 13 cargoes of gasoline for delivery between March and June from Glencore, Totsa and Vitol, traders said on Thursday.

The company a regular buyer of gasoil, gasoline and fuel oil, has concluded its latest tender at a premium of $15 a tonne over Mediterranean quotes, two traders said.

They added that the premiums were below current market prices.

The ARC sought three 30,000-tonne cargoes for March delivery, while for April it asked for four 35,000-tonne cargoes.

In May and June, the oil traders will deliver three 35,000-tonne 92 RON unleaded gasoline cargoes each month.

One of the cargoes was for prompt delivery, a trader said.

The tender closed on Saturday and bids were valid until late Wednesday.

Yemen is dependant on regular fuel imports due to its lack of refining capacity and repeated attacks on the oil pipeline that carries crude to the Aden refinery. (Reuters)
