Qatar Toastmasters Club hosts public speaking meeting remotely

Qatar Toastmasters club, the largest public speaking club in Qatar, collaborated with Petra Toastmasters and Commercial Bank Toastmasters clubs to host a special online meeting for over 50 professionals from different backgrounds and experience who thrived to share their communication, interpersonal skill through prepared, impromptu speeches and received constructive feedback during the evaluation session.
The presidents of the three clubs, TM Senthil Kumar, TM Anas Zyoud and TM Abdulla Al Fadli expressed their joy to have successfully grouped the members of the three clubs in one meeting and showing good examples of leadership.
Commenting on his journey in toastmasters for more than 12 years and a past president of Qatar Toastmasters club, Williams Antony, DTM said: “Toastmasters have been an amazing experience. Being a Toastmaster is investing in oneself and one’s best possible future.  It is a place where you will gain confidence, shed fear, make friends, continuously encourage and be encouraged.”
The theme of the meeting was ‘Area 14 Airways’ in reference to Area 14 which hosts the three clubs under its wings. Members of the three clubs shared the hosting of the meeting by having each section lead by a member of each club.
TM Shareef, Qatar Toastmasters Club, was the Toastmaster of the Day  and he energised the meeting with his aspiring introduction and the shared knowledge on how to become a professional speaker. 
The prepared speeches session was full of inspiring speeches that were professionally delivered by TM Athira Sasidharan, TM Sondos Salih and TM Mahmoud Alami. TM Sondos Salih‘s speech titled ‘Vive Sin Miedo’ was voted, by the three club members, as the best speech of the meeting.
Members and guests of the meeting had the chance to practise their public speaking skills by participating in the impromptu speech session called ‘Table Topics’, headed by TM Abdulla Al Fadli who asked intriguing questions to the participants. TM Sandeep Wagle was named as the best table topics speaker of the meeting.
