Mexico: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met yesterday during his current visit to Mexico with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States H E Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to support and promote them, especially in the economic and trade sectors, in addition to discussing a range of topics of common interest.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed during the visit the State of Qatar's welcome of the Mexican fans to attend FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs also met with President of the Senate of the United Mexican States H E Olga Sanchez Corder, during his current visit to Mexico.
During the meeting they reviewed relations of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, especially in the economic and multilateral fields, such as climate change, discussed the latest regional and international developments, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by a number of senators from the senate of the United Mexican States.
