Doha: The first proud batch of Grade X students of DPS Monarch International School have romped home with a stellar performance in the Central Board of Secondary Education 2021-2022 Board Examinations.
Their diligence and determination have reaped rich dividends. Bringing laurels to their school and raising the bars of performance, Saachi Dhadwal with a whopping of 98.6% emerged the school topper. Following closely at her heels is Devika Kundathil Anoop with an outstanding 97.6% as second topper; Rachel Lizbeth Kurian 97.2% as third topper and Varsha claiming the fourth highest berth with 97%. Athulya Subash, Akshith Palamthody and Daksh Hemalkumar Shah have secured 95.6% as fifth toppers.
Fathima Nehrin Mullungal grabbed sixth position with 94.6%, Soundarya Lakshmi Narayanan bagged seventh position with 94.2%, Sanjay Satheesh Menon secured eight position with 93.8%, Vihaan Pradeep grabbed ninth position with 93% and the tenth topper is Sarang Puthanpurayil Satheesh with 92.8%.
The total number of students who appeared for the exam were 64 with school average of 82.14% and school result of perfect 100%.
With their exemplary performance speaking volumes for their hard work, five students scored 100 marks in Mathematics and Science. Saachi Dhadwal and Devika Kundathil Anoop scored 100 marks in Mathematics and Science. Vihaan Pradeep scored in Mathematics whereas Rachel Lizbeth Kurian and Athulya Subash scored in Science.
Proving their mettle, the students have shown that extracurricular activities are never a hurdle in achieving academic excellence.
The following are the number of students who scored more than 90% marks in various subjects: 28 students in English,12 students in Mathematics, 22 students in Science, 16 students in Social Science, 26 students in Information Technology and 16 students in Languages.
