Doha: As part of its commitment to social responsibility and its efforts to support various segments in need within the community, the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation revealed that it provided monthly assistance during the first quarter of 2025, covering health and education sectors as well as financial and in-kind aid for individuals and families in need.
The total value of this support amounted to QR3,690,744.
The Foundation relies on its resources to provide these monthly aid packages throughout the year, due to its strong commitment to projects and initiatives within Qatar, which remain a major priority. This approach is rooted in the Foundation’s vision: “Health and Education for a Better Life.”
Health and Education:
As the health and education sectors reflect the Foundation’s core mission, the first quarter of 2025 witnessed the provision of support in these areas valued at a total of QR1,903,251.
This included covering tuition fees for students across various academic levels — from private and community schools to university students — to meet their essential needs and help them continue their educational journey without financial barriers.
In the health sector, the Foundation assisted in numerous medical cases of individuals in need whose health conditions imposed financial burdens that exceeded their capabilities. This support was provided in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation.
Financial Assistance:
In its ongoing effort to provide financial support to those who qualify, the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation recognises the importance of this aid in supporting families’ aspirations for a stable life.
The Foundation adopts a flexible and efficient system that aims to reach the largest number of beneficiaries and diversifies its monthly support between financial and in-kind assistance, tailored to the needs of each individual or family.
In the first three months of the year, the total value of such assistance reached QR1,787,493.
Social Solidarity:
The charitable initiatives and projects implemented by the Foundation are characterised by sustainability, as they are self-funded.
They are built upon the principle of social solidarity, ensuring the continuous provision of social assistance to low-income and struggling families and helping to alleviate their financial burdens.
