DOHA: As part of its partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Qatari IT services company, Malomatia, has delivered phase one of the landmark Business Services Setup (BSS) e-Service.
The service envisions transformation of all core business services and enables their automation to serve investors in Qatar.
Several of the ministry’s services are available electronically through its website and mobiles, including Apple and Android stores, as a Beta version with the ability to secure user feedback and the full range of services expected to be introduced in the future.
“We are honoured to be partners to the ministry on such a landmark project which represents a significant transformation of e-Government services in Qatar.
“The project also amplifies Malomatia’s credentials as a Qatari company pursuing a leading role in the IT sector, particularly in bringing opportunities for creating world class e-Services and e-Solutions for the government sector at strategic levels,” said Yousef Al Naama, CEO, Malomatia. “We thank the ministry for support and confidence in our team working alongside the ministry to complete delivery of the first phase of the mandate,” he added.
Through the partnership, the ministry will receive end-to-end delivery of a comprehensive online Business Setup Services solution.
The Business Services Setup e-Services solution is available to investors and businesses online and via mobile devices. It provides online applications for business establishments, renewal of commercial licences and associated services important to the business sector.
The ministry announced the project in April last year to give the business community and consumers an easy access to public services via digital channels.
In addition to enabling round-the-clock access to the ministry and related entities’ services, the initiative aims to achieve the desired transparency and fairness and greater mobility and access to services.. The Peninsula
