Ooredoo launches new Nojoom promotion

DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday announced that Nojoom Loyalty Programme has launched a new promotions, which will run at various times throughout the year, each time giving members the chance to win Nojoom Points. 
During the promotion, which will run from April 26 to July 26, members will receive an entry into a draw to win 100,000 Nojoom Points for every QR1,500 spent with Al Nahdi, Qatar’s leading vehicle window film supplier. 
Protecting cars from summer heat, scratches and fading from sunlight, Al Nahdi Group offers a range of films that reduce heat and glare, and block UV rays. These films include window films, paint protection films, decorative and headlight films.
Upon the completion of their purchase, members will need to provide a copy of their QID to the Al Nahdi service representative to earn Nojoom Points and to be automatically entered into the draw.

Carnegie Mellon and Maersk Oil sign MoU


Doha: Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Maersk Oil Qatar (MOQ) to establish an Alliance for Knowledge Exchange.
The MoU was signed by CMU-Q Dean and CEO Dr Ilker Baybars and Deputy Managing Director of MOQ Sheikh Faisal bin Fahad Al Thani to enhance the pillar of human development encompassed in Qatar National Vision 2030 to develop executive education between scientists and researcher in the field of business administration, information security and general policy through specialized conferences, seminars and workshops.
Education at CMU-Q is designed to reflect the most advanced policies and innovation in order to prove the opportunity before students to gain theoretical and practical experience in computer science, information systems, business administration and biology.
