The 14th edition of "A Flower Each Spring" programme focused on the importance of rationalising water, protecting its sources and ensuring its availability.
Dr Saif Ali Al Hajari, Chairman of the programme of 'A Flower Each Spring', talked during the trip about the challenges which face water use and the need to maintain the natural sources and to rationalise consumption.
“Because of the importance of water, the United Nations has allocated World Water Day, on March 22 every year, which is about taking action to tackle the water crisis,” Al Hajari said. Al Hajari also stressed on the need to rationalise energy and electricity consumption.
