DOHA: Vodafone Qatar yesterday launched Vodafone Falla, the country’s first telecom plan for the youth, with great mobile deals, exciting activities and direct youth engagement.
Falla is a Qatari expression meaning ‘enjoying the moment’ and is the feeling Vodafone wants to create with the young.
This year would be full of game changers, Kyle Whitehill, CEO, said at the launch, referring to the tremendous success of the Red Postpaid launch.
“Youth are the cornerstone of Qatar National Vision 2030. Harnessing their passions, ambitions and creativity in every aspect of their lives will play a key role in realising it.
“There are half a million young people in Qatar with their own taste and requirements in terms of lifestyle and in daily communication.”
With the Vodafone Falla Prepaid and Postpaid plans, you can talk for hours, get endless music and enjoy fantastic Internet offers like hours of calling with 1,000 minutes of calls to Vodafone numbers, endless music with Anghami+ mobile music application and 1GB of Internet for mobile streaming and downloads.
Anghami is the No. 1 music service in the Gulf, also offering Internet offers with 100MB free on every prepaid recharge and a postpaid Falla plan with 1GB included.
Vodafone Falla Prepaid plan is for QR6 a week and Vodafone Falla Postpaid plan for QR100 per month.
Vodafone Falla will deliver entertainment in video gaming at the Gaming Lounge in Al Sadd.
Every Wednesday from noon to midnight, Vodafone Falla is sponsoring free gaming for anybody. Vodafone also announced Falla Ambassadors — who are well recognised and admired in Qatar — to help share great things about Vodafone Falla with customers.
