Doha: The German Business Council in Qatar (GBCQ), led by its chairperson, Henning Zimmerman, recently visited the German Excavation Technology WLL (GET), an established German Qatari partnership between KEMROC Spezialmaschinen GmbH & Lotus Trading & Contracting WLL, as part of its activities at expanding and fostering the business channels in Qatar.
The event was attended by Chancellor Jörg Fürstenau, representing the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Qatar, board members of the GBCQ, and guests from the German Industry and Commerce Office (AHK Qatar), the Qatar Free Zone Authority, Invest Qatar, and the local press.
At the event, Zimmerman highlighted the roles the GBCQ is playing in creating an enabling environment for the growth of German business in Qatar as well as its support in the development of the businesses of its members.
Klaus Ertmer, Managing Director of KEMROC Spezialmaschinen GmbH and Managing Partner in GET, received the delegations and introduced the activities of the company to them.
The attendees were later invited for a tour of the premises to get familiarized with the production division, the service center, and ultimately the final products through a live demonstration.
