Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors - Qatar Chapter (IIQS-Qatar) (Associated to Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) under the aegis of Embassy of India in Qatar) successfully conducted its 10th Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at Concorde Hotel, recently.
Close to 40 members and guests attended this event. Martin Dzediku – Commercial Manager of Consolidated Contractors Company SAL, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the topic ‘The Professional Person – your marketable Values’.
An interactive question and answer session followed the presentation. The lecture comprehensively outlined the essential qualities of a professionally successful individual. The attendees found the talk highly inspiring, useful and interesting.
One of the key takeaways from the lecture was the need for professionals at any level of their career to continue their professional development through various means such as reading books and attending CPDs frequently.
Venkat Reddy (IIQS-Qatar Treasurer) welcomed the attendees and conducted the event. Kiran Kumar (IIQS-Qatar General Secretary) felicitated Martin for delivering the lecture. Anshul Gupta (IIQS Qatar – President) expressed vote of thanks for the function. He also provided a brief about the Annual IBPC event attended by IIQS-Qatar and displayed the felicitation momento received by IIQS-Qatar from IBPC.
Anshul Gupta further provided an outline of IIQS-Qatar’s planned events for the first quarter of 2020 and urged the nembers to renew their IIQS annual membership for 2020 at the earliest and further requested non-members to become members.
