Qatar Foundation for Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman) marked ‘International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women’ on November 25.
Awareness stalls were organised in Landmark Mall. Brochures were distributed to raise awareness among the public. Aman celebrates this day to enhance protection and social rehabilitation of the target groups in response to UN general assembly call to raise awareness of different social issues to highlight the role of women and their social status.
Amna Al Mahmoud, Head of Follow-up Section, Aman Center said: “ The centre always participates and organises activities to raise awareness about the different forms of violence happening all around the world .”
