Al Meera gets ISO certification for its robust information security management systems

Doha: Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (Q.P.S.C.) announced that it achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its robust Information Security Management System (ISMS), enhancing customer trust with its rigorous new personal and commercial data safety initiatives.

The ISMS introduced new set of policies and procedures for systematically managing organisation’s sensitive data securely under the IT department at Al Meera, which has been accredited by International Accreditation Service (IAS) Inc., USA. T h e I S O / I E C 27001:2013 is a globally known standard that makes companies become more secure and sensitive from risks of information security.

It is issued against satisfactory completion of a range of specifications for security management systems in organisations that demonstrate high standards for protecting consumer privacy and data security.

The ISO recognition is celebrated by AI Meera as evidence that the organisation follows international requirements to enhance the consistency of its processes and customer support.
