Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha launches new Ghost Series II

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha hosted the first customer launch event in the Middle East for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, the latest vehicle to be launched by the British automaker, recently. The car was unveiled to customers in Qatar at an exclusive event hosted by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha, part of the Alfardan Group, the authorized dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Qatar.
The subtle re-design of the popular Ghost family sees understated exterior changes coupled with the latest in industry-leading technology from Rolls-Royce. The result is the ultimate expression of modern dynamism and luxury, a dramatic yet graceful vehicle that is effortless thanks to cutting-edge technology.
“The Ghost Series II is designed to harness the power of simplicity. Every detail is precisely engineered to evoke grace and elegance for an effortless driving experience,” said Mohamed Kandeel, Chief Operating Officer, Alfardan Automotive Division.
“It is also an honour to be the first dealer in the Middle East to host a launch event for our customers for this masterpiece from Rolls-Royce; and to be able to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan’s spirit of compassion and brotherhood with them, along with our staff and partners.”
Changes to the Ghost Series II begin in the front, where re-sculpted LED headlights encircled by daytime running lights lend the vehicle a more striking aesthetic. A tapered ‘wake channel’ on the bonnet, emanating from the Spirit of Ecstasy, evokes the sight of a jet’s vapour trail or wake of a fast luxury yacht and hints at the car’s dynamism. Subtle re-sculpting of Ghost’s bumpers creates a stronger stance and a sense of extra width and height, whilst the contemporary design is further enhanced with the addition of chrome inserts to the front air intakes, which now feed more air cooling to the front brakes. In addition, the famous waft line has been re-designed on Ghost Series II to lean further forwards emphasising the car’s effortless vigour.
The launch of the Ghost Series II in Doha comes as news that Rolls-Royce vehicles continue to grow in popularity in the Qatari capital. Earlier this year, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha was recognised within the ultra-luxury car marker’s global network as a Market Growth Champion for the Middle East in 2013.  Honoured with the title at the Rolls-Royce World Dealer Conference this past February, the Qatari dealer was presented with the title and a gleaming trophy to mark an impressive 37 percent increase in their year-on-year sales results for 2013.
