DOHA: Vodafone Qatar held a recognition event to commemorate its best retailers’ achievers.
Under Vodafone Al Mumayaz Programme and in line with the company’s commitment to build and strengthen relationships with mass market outlets, the company invited over 300 retailers to celebrate their efforts in the presence of CEO Kyle Whitehill and other company officials.
The event featured entertainment from all over India and saw Vodafone giving away grand prizes, travel vouchers, home furniture and over 100 grammes of gold.
Participants included retailers and distributors, Vodafone Qatar sales, marketing, operations, and networks teams.
Whitehill gave an overview of the company’s latest network enhancements that make it today Qatar’s fastest data network with the widest 4G+ coverage. Marc Norris, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our partners are keys to our success and we place very high importance on the feedback they have about us.
Al Mumayaz aims to reward and recognise our retailers for efforts and commitment to support Vodafone and to be our ambassadors in the market.”
Aiming to engage with all stakeholders, Vodafone holds regular meetings to update mass retailers on latest products and services besides networks improvement. Feedback and insights Vodafone gleans out of these meetings are essential to continuously enhance its mass market performance. The meetings also aim to engage directly with shop owners and managers to collect first-hand input which forms the basis for developing services and solutions. Al Mumayaz participants expressed joy at surprises they received, especially the recognition and appreciation of their accomplishments.
