
DOHA: Al Fazaa patrol vehicles are to be fitted with video cameras so that people sitting in the central operation room of the Ministry of Interior are able to watch accidents, including fire and road mishaps. The cameras are to be mounted atop the vehicle.
Currently, Al Fazaa personnel manning the patrol vehicle need to inform about the accidents to the operation room and provide details.
However, once the cameras are fitted atop the vehicles there would be no need for Al Fazaa personnel to give details as operation room staffers would be able to watch the details themselves, reports Al Sharq.
From these cameras footages of an accident would be transmitted directly to the operation room of the interior ministry. The Peninsula
