Bogota: An earthquake of 6.0 magnitude hit central Colombia Tuesday night.
The quake was located about 150 km south of the capital of Bogota and was very shallow it struck at a depth of 6.2 miles, the US Geological Survey reported in a statement.
On its side, the National Tsunami Warning Center in the Pacific Ocean said the earthquake was not expected to generate a tsunami.
No casualties or damages were reported.
