PM orders probe against companies responsible for flawed projects

Doha: Under the directives of the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, it was decided that all concerned bodies and companies that implemented the projects, which the current rains and the weather conditions have revealed their flaws, must be referred to investigation and then to the Public Prosecution.
The Government Communication Office announced on Wednesday that it was decided that five companies, so far, must be referred to investigation while parties responsible for dereliction or negligence, whether governmental or private, will be held accountable.
